Time for Goodbyes

Brushfire of Freedom

The Irritable Pundit

Hi all,

It is a time for goodbyes.

Michelle Bachman takes up the Gardasil issue, convinced that a vaccine that protects against cancer is a secret plot to turn teenage girls into tramps. Also tapping into the Jenny McCartney "Vaccines cause everything!" stupidity.  Specifically claiming that a vaccine given to a teenage girl can cause mental retardation. An issue normally associated with (wait for it) ...birth defects.

Bye Michelle!

I would like to point out that I said last week that Rick Perry's pandering to the Hispanic lobby would not go over well. So how did the last one go? Did Rick Perry back up, or double-down? Oh, he doubled down big time.

Bye Rick!

By the way. Obama sure seems to be against Israel, doesn't he?  The 1967 orders? Really? Treat Bibi like a problem instead of the statesman he is? Oy. Think he has Jews on the mind?  Here is a Freudian slip. The bombshell quote: “If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew — as a janitor — makes me a warrior for the working class, I wear that as a badge of honor”.  No seriously. Go watch.

Bye last holdout Jewish support!

Who is left?

Well, Cain is awesome, but does not have the support needed to make it. Santorum comes across as smart, but not like-able. Which leaves Romney, but he is the candidate no one wants. Which leaves... who? All of the tier 2 or 3 candidates have less chance of succeeding to the U.S. Presidency than Vladimir Putin.

Sarah, isn't it time to say "Hello?" The top spot of the ticket is starting to look very winnable. Imagine the same convention with a different person beside you.

Oh yeah, that’s a winner.

"Marco Rubio, please pick up the white courtesy phone."

See you next week!
