Brushfire of Freedom

The Conservative Cowboy

I will not say that Obama is the worst president that this country has ever seen, although many people educated in the matter believe that he might go down as this country’s worst president, we have had many that I personally disagree with, Obama being at the top of the list for me.   I don’t think that this is a surprise to the majority of Americans, even some of the ones in the middle that voted for Obama.  And they admit that they got hung up in the hype; it could be good for the country to have a Black president.  Blah Blah Blah; what we really need as Americans is to look back at what got us to this point, some of the principles of our founding fathers are old, outdated, and backwards but their meanings still apply today.

Responsibility is the biggest thing that our new society is lacking, responsibility to themselves and the rest of society.  This has come about because of the parents, teachers, and society in general.  We have become a society of pleasers, entitled youth, and apathetic towards anything that is the truth but could possibly be offensive to 5% of the population.  But look at me I am just as bad as our current president, just pointing out the problems.  Well here are some solutions that will fix the problem.

First, your child is not an adult, so you talking to them saying things like “ I don’t appreciate the way you are acting right now” doesn’t work, there is a two letter word that has a much better effect on young children, NO.

Second, competition doesn’t hurt self esteem it actually boost’s it.  I am sorry but competition is part of life, one will always be competing, whether it is for a position on a sports team, scholarship spot or intern on the marketing team.  Bottom line is that life is a competition, taking it out of schools only cripples the youth of this country.

Third, you might actually have to work hard to make ends meet.  I know that it is something that could be hard to understand for some but it is a simple part of life for most of us, you get what you earn.  In other words there is a certain amount of money out there, you can provide a certain amount of work, you are paid based on how important that work is to the bottom line.  Pretty simple equation if you ask me.  I know that it sounds a little cold but everyone has a value based on your skills, you get paid based on those skills, if you want to make more money, go and get more skills.

Fourth, these really are solutions.  You may look above and say CC you are only pointing out what is wrong.  Well I am sorry but those are the solutions to the problems in this country.  No one deserves anything that they didn’t work for and the government cannot fix everything.  I think that should be the country’s new slogan, because apparently the land of opportunity means the “land of entitlement”

Until next week…..The larger the government, the less you have to use your brain!
