Only 46% of Americans recently polled approve of the job B. Hussein Obama is doing as President of the United States. I have but one question for each of those 46%...
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!?!?!
This president is a documented, outright, absolute American catastrophe. There is nothing he has done, nothing he has said, no action, position, idea, or agenda that he has presented, proposed, or pushed that has been anything less than a complete failure. In fact, not only has his agenda failed to produce the results he touted, in many cases they did more damage than even his harshest critics expected.
A bit overboard? Think I’m going to far? Ok, let’s see if I can kick a light on for those 46% who still think this president is anything other than a complete failure.
The oil spill. He waited how long to get there? Bush visited the same region, ravaged by Katrina, in less than a week. Obama was too busy? Playing golf? Going on vacation? Attending concerts in the White House? Blaming Bush?
Maybe he was too busy trying to buy off potential opponents of his Dem buddies. Let’s call it what it is, bribery. This president is trying to bribe his way to maintaining power he knows he is going to lose in November. He knows his policies are unpopular, at least with thinking people, and he knows that once he loses control of Congress he will lose the ability to shove his policies down our throats. So he tries to buy off various politicians to keep them from running against his chosen candidates for various roles.
So far he doesn’t care about the people on the coast, and will try to bribe his way to continued power. Still think he’s doing a good job?
Unemployment has been near 10% for many, many months now. Real unemployment, the count that includes all of the people out of work, even if they have stopped looking for jobs, is near 20%. This despite the magic stimulus package that was going to halt unemployment at 8%. That prediction was a recognized failure even by Joe Biden. The only reason unemployment isn’t even higher is the Obama regime’s hiring (and some say re-hiring) of census workers. His economic policies have done little to help the economy. In fact, because of the pending tax increases, the attacks on industry, the threats against actual producers, it is easy to see that he is in fact stifling any hope of economic recovery. His regime’s involvement is definitely not helping the economy and could quite possibly be making matters worse.
His international policies are a complete failure. Iran still has nukes and still is threatening to use them. Recent efforts by Turkey to start another war in the Middle East (peaceful relief flotilla, really?) were met by Obama all but blaming Israel for the Turkish attempt. North Korea has gotten away with an act of war by sinking a South Korean ship in international waters, with no response from this regime. Now in place of angry Arabs and a supportive Israel and U.K. we have angry Arabs, angry Israel (Rahm Emanual can attest to that fact), and a U.K. that is at least miffed.
From a protocol standpoint the Obama regime is a laughing stock. Plastic buttons improperly labeled in Russian, DVD’s that won’t work in U.K. devices, gifts returned (insult), and even escorts through the trash bins. What friends we have in the world that Obama has not completely pissed off are often embarrassed or insulted by his protocol blunders. And could someone please tell this idiot that he is not required to bow to every international leader he meets?
Locally, illegal immigration is a bigger problem than ever, Gitmo is still open (despite his executive order), and efforts to bring terrorists into the country have been met by howls of anger, even from the left. Meanwhile the terrorists, who we aren’t allowed to call terrorists, continue to make attempts to attack this country. The only thing that has prevented their success is their own incompetence, some observant Americans, and pure damn luck.
Health care reform? Has anything really changed? Well, we know now that it will cost much more than any previous Democrat estimate, that it may well be unconstitutional, that it will r
aise our taxes, and that rationing of services is part of the model. We know that it has more pork than a Memphis BBQ and that the Obama regime has already missed its first set of deadlines toward implementation. Several states have passed or are considering laws to prevent its implementation, in part because they can’t afford the costs and in part because they believe it is out of bounds for the feds. To top all that off none of the “benefits” that had to be passed by August (November, Christmas, etc.) will go in to effect until 2013. Crisis averted?
A summary - Health care reform - fail. Economy - fail. International relations - fail. Transparency - fail. Government reform - fail. Close Gitmo - fail. National security - fail.
46% approve of this President’s job to date. What are you people smoking, and has it been sanctioned by your Obamacare representative?
