“We shall overcome”
It has been the cry of the oppressed for centuries. Forced to work for the benefit of others, slaves have cried out for their liberation. Those trapped under the boots of tyrannical governments have cried out for freedom. Freedom is the human condition, the state of our being. We were not designed to be slaves, we have all been born with the spirit of freedom coursing through our souls.
The Founders of this great nation understood that condition. Our current rulers do not. Howard Dean, head of the DNC, commented on Obamacare saying, “This is a form of redistribution.” Wealth “redistribution” is the basis of socialism. Socialism is not the form of government the Founders defined in our Declaration and Constitution. One thing is crystal clear; the policies of Obama and his regime are the polar opposite of the foundation of this nation.
Just two weeks ago, this regime passed the most sweeping destruction of freedom that this nation has seen since the 1700‘s. Freedom and liberty have lost the first major battle, but not the war. We still have options and opportunities, there are other battles to win, and this war is far from over. What we must do now is muster our forces and focus on each target with an effective use of the proper tactics.
Make no mistake, this is war. It was declared by the Socialists when they began scheming behind closed doors, buying votes with our money, and ignoring our voices for their own personal gain. They no longer serve The People, they are at war with The People. Picture their brazen walk through the middle of protestors as they marched to Congress to steal our liberty. You’ve seen the photo, the glee on their face, as Nancy and her gang of socialists waltzed through the crowd, daring anyone to offer any opposition. They ignored all of us, all the emails, all the phone calls, all the protests, all the meetings, all the blogs, all The People. They are no longer representatives of The People, they are an aristocratic leadership class that intends to rule us from on high. They are enemies of Freedom because they have declared war on Liberty. We did not ask for this war, it was brought upon us by the Obama regime. It is a war we must not lose. Our freedom must be defended tirelessly and continuously, for ourselves and our posterity, as well as for a world that sees this nation as a beacon of hope for all the oppressed.
So what can we do? If our own elected officials ignore what we say, how can we push our country back toward the liberty and freedom on which it was based? Are all of our efforts for naught? Are we wasting our time? Is it over?
In a word, No.
We still live in the greatest democracy in the history of the world. This country has risen to prominence faster than any other. It’s been done because we are a free people, because we have before us the American dream. It’s been done over the past 233 years because of the people of this nation, because of our drive, our energy, our dedication, our willingness to sacrifice. Never forget, it is our government, of, by, and for The People. Those currently in power who pretend to exercise authority over us do so in direct conflict of our founding and against the will of the governed. Based on our history we know this will not stand.
Remember the Alamo. Remember Valley Forge. Remember Iwo Jima.
Remember that throughout history, on our home soil and in foreign lands, we as a free people have always stood for liberty and prosperity. Never before has a nation waged war on foreign soil then returned the government to the native people. We’ve done so several times in the past century. Japan, Iraq, Afghanistan. All examples of America’s dedication to freedom around the globe. If the light of liberty is snuffed out in America, it dims, or possibly dies, for the rest of the world. We can not, and will not, let this happen.
We will not be the generations that surrender to tyranny. This will not be the time in history when free men laid down and submitted to socialism, oppression, and heartless authority. We will stand, we will fight, and we will prevail. We will do so with the tools that our Founders provided. Free speech. Free press. Free religion. Free peaceful assembly. We have rights, not provided by the government, but granted by our Creator. They can not take that away.
Now is the time.
It is time to muster our forces, to educate the masses, and to join as one against the totalitarianism that has targeted our freedom. Educate yourself. Educate your neighbors. Build coalitions and support candidates that stand for freedom and against socialism. Challenge anyone and everyone to support the liberty that is the bedrock of our nation. Attend rallies, demonstrate, call, email, and continue to drive home the point; we will NOT surrender to your dictatorship. Attend the local caucus, go to the party conventions, participate and let your voice be heard using the single most powerful weapon in your arsenal; your vote.
Bring friends and compatriots of like minds, encourage each other to vote. We have two things on our side that can not be defeated; we have numbers, and we have the truth. Ignore the propaganda, do not become dispirited. Now is not the time to rest, but the time to gather our forces and focus on our strategy. This nation was built on freedom, and we will have our freedom. This nation was built on liberty, and we will fight for liberty.
This November, we will have our victory. Freedom will once again rise from the ash heap of tyranny. We will succeed in removing from office those who have failed as stewards of liberty. This November, we shall overcome.
