Well, Barry and his socialist buds have managed to take a big step toward the destruction of this country. If you were under the impression that this was the end of the effort, you are sadly mistaken. There are many, many, many other items on the list that these arrogant American aristocrats want to enact to ensure that their destruction of this nation is complete. They know their time is limited, so they will do everything they can to act quickly and get as much done as is possible before we can stop them.
Here’s a quick list, a bit of a reminder of things to come.
Cap and Trade - Yes, there is now significant evidence that the idea of man-made global warming (or cooling, or whatever) is nothing more than a hoax. That fact will not stop Harry, Barry, and Nancy from enacting this tax scheme in the name of saving the planet. The reason is simple; this is not about saving the planet. It is really nothing more than a power and money grab, much like the Obamacare plan. And the Stimulus package. And TARP. Wait, is there a pattern here?
Immigration Reform - Much like healthcare reform, this is not really about reforming anything so much as replacing it completely with a plan that meets the needs of the socialist power base. The intent is to pre-pay for votes, somewhere between 11 and 24 million, to shore up the Democrats and ensure continued re-election despite their continued attack on the legal citizens of this nation. There is a process to enter this country legally. No, it is not a slam dunk, but that is for a reason. We don’t want to let the murderers, rapists, thieves, etc. enter our country in an effort to escape prosecution for their crimes. The purpose of the liberal immigration reform is to take every criminal already in this nation illegally and turn them in to citizens over night. They would bypass all of the screening. They would replace all that with amnesty, magically granting citizenship to millions of new Democrat voters. By the way, they will immediately become eligible for Obamacare that day, having never paid into the system. Neat, huh?
Card Check - So what if Arlen Spector said he would not support it? It makes no difference now, as he will vote his new party line. Card Check is not about money and power for Democrat politicians. Well, not directly. It is a little about payback for the unions who gave $400 million to Democrats in the last election cycle. Those of you concerned about the influence of lobbyists on politics today need look no further than the SEIU and Democrats. The unions (Big Labor) fund the majority of Democrat candidates. Card Check creates an avenue for automatic union expansion. That means more union dues. That means more money in union coffers and that means more money for donations to Democrat parties. Don’t forget that this little gem has been named the “Employee Free Choice Act”. There is nothing in it about choice, and it most certainly will not be free. When Barry gets Card Check, he will have created a brand new funnel for cash into the election accounts of every Democrat in Congress.
Tax Increases - Not that we haven’t already had several, but Barry will need to fund all of these other efforts. The exploding deficit will be the reason for the tax increase. We will be asked to ignore the fact that the exploding government is the reason for the exploding deficit. It will be for the children, for the families, for the workers (sound familiar?). We will need to act quickly to resolve the debt crisis. The tax increase will be a moral obligation to ensure the less fortunate have everything that the rest of us have. That will of course include the millions more illegals streaming across the border to get all the free goodies.
The first three items will happen in no particular order. The big tax increase will take place at two points. The first will be the lapse of the Bush tax cuts, which will happen this year. The second will happen once Obama has managed to push through (or “deem” passed) at least two of his other key agenda items. That will create the crisis that will make the tax increase necessary. What will happen if we push back? He will begin to threaten all of the entitlements. He will say we will have to make cuts in the military. He will make a list of the terrible things that will happen if we don’t fund all of his precious programs. The only way to fund them? Increase your taxes. Yes, yours too.
If you look back through this list you will see one common thread. None of these items is about strengthening America. None of these programs will improve our economy. None of them will bring jobs, create growth, or improve our way of life. Every one of them is designed to shore up the power base that Democrats so desperately crave. These programs are about “change”. They are about making this great nation into the socialist state that Barry and his ilk have dreamed of all their lives. It will ensure the perpetual power of the ruling party, and that would be the Democrats. Next up, the downfall of liberty.
