Waiting for the Racism Card

The Conservative Cowboy

Last week if you read my post I was talking about my optimistic feelings about the special election in Massachusetts sending a message to our liberal friends.  Well this week I am going to write about the liberals and their last straw.

It never fails that the left will fun out of facts to back-up any of their legislation, and eventually after the democrats rule the congress for a little while the people wise up again and get rid of them.  The last time this happened was during the Clinton administration.  I think that the average person votes for a democrat because what they say sounds good.  I know that during the campaign in 08 I had to call out some of the left leaning conservatives because of all the talk.

Well I am just waiting for our friends in Washington to pull out a card that the play quite often and that is the racism card.  Well actually it is anything that has to do with the first or fourteenth amendment.  This happens because the luster of the Democratic Party has worn off, and now that the luster is gone they have to resort to facts, facts that are simply not there.  Now I have to give it to them lately they are finding ways to create facts, not actual facts but they distort data in order to create favorable results.  In case you’re wondering I am talking about climate change and “saved/created” jobs.  I still have yet to find someone that can explain to me what a “saved” job is, and I still can’t find anyone that can explain how CFL’s are going to save the environment.  So now that all of the manufactured facts are out there and they have nothing else to base their arguments on I am simply waiting for them to say that opposition to Obama is about race.

Let me make this clear, the only people in this country concerned about race are the liberals and the people they supposedly stand up for, if race is something that is holding you back then that is the individuals fault.  We live in a society today where race is nothing like what it used to be and the majority of people don’t care the color of your skin, or the religion.  It has become such a faux pas to talk about race or religion in this country that it makes me sick.

I remember the first time that I was accused of being racist against our president, and at the time he was not even our president.  It came from my boss, and the first question he asked me when he knew that I was against an Obama presidency was and I quote “what is wrong with a black President?”  To which my reply was simply nothing is wrong with a black president.

You see whenever you push against a liberal they try to counter your logic with emotion, a tactic that works with mindless drones that simply think that the world owes them something, but logic will always beat emotion, and that is what we saw in Massachusetts and that is what I hope we see in November.

It has not happened since the election but I would be willing to be that the liberals play their race card at least once more before the end of Obama’s first term, and they might even use it as a platform for their re-election campaign.

Please remember that logic and realism will always trump emotion and impracticality.

I have got to say, politics and religion bring out the very best as well as the bad side in folk. The best because both can result in folk being unbelievably altrusitic, the worst as both can result in incredibly mulish and unreasonable behavior. I'm not having a pop at you, this comments merely made me realise this, so thanks for that.

Hello. This is kind of an "unconventional" question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you've got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this ...so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I'll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.
