Brushfire of Freedom
The Conservative Cowboy
First of all I would like to take the time to wish everyone a happy New Year and I hope that the holiday season went well. I really don’t like to watch all of the New Years hype about the 50 greatest this of 2009 and the 10 best that so I am not going to sum up the entire year. What I think New Years is about is looking ahead to the future, looking at the mistakes we made as individuals and as a society. Now the list of mistakes that our Government has made this year is much too long to list, and my collogues and I have been illustrating many of them on this website. Many people make New Year’s resolutions, and many times they are the same as the year before, and this is because they are not realistic or they are just not really that important.
So if you are going to make a resolution this year I want to give you some advice, make the resolution realistic and make a plan for success, which is something that our Government is missing sorely a plan. We heard all of these great changes that were going to come if we elected BHO the biggest problem is that he had no plan to carry out those changes. I am sorry I had to put one shot in this blog, but back to the resolutions. Like anything that is long term in your life or job, there needs to be a plan in place to keep you on track, and give you a time table for success. Many of the New Year’s resolutions are very long term and large undertakings, much like the promises from a campaign. So instead of looking at the end of the long journey there needs to be steps involved so that one does not get overwhelmed and give up, or in the case of politics pass something that shouldn’t have been passed. OK I think it is just too hard for me to not take a shot at the idiots that we have running this country.
2010 will be a very big year in the history of this country, not only is it the start of a new decade but there are very important Mid-Term elections happening in November. So the only real piece of advice that I can give you is to become and educated voter, and make your own voice heard next year, not the voice of CNN or any of the other “news” channels.
Thanks for reading my blog this year and we will see you all next year.
