Brushfire of Freedom
Ram Rants
There, I said it. Our President is a racist. Not because he hates white people, or the hispanics, or Jews. Our President is a racist for the same reason that you and I are racists.
This all started back in 2008 when Bill “Bubba” Clinton commented on the racial aspects of the primary elections in South Carolina. As is most frequently the case, members of the Democrat party had once again brought race into an otherwise open and somewhat honest election. We see this so much today that most of us don’t even notice this racist tendencies of those on the left. But, the facts remain. Most liberals see people in colors, groups, and categories, and fail to judge people on the quality of their character.
This fact alone doesn’t make Barry a racist. It is simply an underlying factor that frames the issue. As I said, Barry is a racist for the same reason that you and I are racists.
As the primaries progressed in 2008, we saw more playing of the “race card” by the left. They played it against Hillary, Bill, John McCain, and anyone else that stepped in their way. We heard the cry of “racist” from supporters, staffers, and others around the Obama campaign. It became so prevalent, that the media began ignoring the blatant sexism coming from Obama. They attacked Hillary because of her gender. They went after Sarah Palin because of she is a she. The PC Police seemed to be asleep at the switch when it comes to attacks made by certain favored persons. No media outcry arose, no one began to question the Obama campaign about their actions or perceptions. Trouble is, most liberals see people in colors, groups, and categories, and fail to judge people on the quality of their character.
This again does not make Mr. Obama a racist. The activities of those around him are a possible reflection of his character, but we should not paint him with such a broad brush. As I said, Barry is a racist for the same reason that you and I are racists.
When the election was finished in November of 2008, and we found ourselves with the “first black president”, we were told that America was moving in to a new age. We were moving into a “post partisan” and “post racial” era of American society and politics. The nation was truly maturing, showing the world what it meant to be really free and fair. This was what the election of Barry meant to us and to the world. We were told to put aside the racial slanders of his pastor of 20 years, and focus on what glorious events the future would bring. Hope and Change. Yes We Can.
But we’ve not seen evidence of this post racial America. Cries of “racist” began to ring out from this administration almost on the first day. Why would anyone question the money spent on the New York date? They must be racists. How could you not support the stimulus, you must be a racist. It’s not as if anyone had asked, “Why is the Black President wasting trillions of dollars of our money”. People were questioning the expenditure on new bridges at the MicroSoft compound in Washington, or the special jets to fly our representatives to expensive junkets. Why does Congress get a raise when twice as many Americans are unemployed as were this time last year? None of these questions were couched in the context of the President’s race, but members of his administration, his precious Czars, and his devoted followers in the media all referred to those who disagree with Obama as racists.
Even former president Jimmy Carter called those who disagree with Obama “racists”.
I am a fairly intelligent guy, and I have great respect for those who serve this country either in elected office or in uniform. So if all of these people believe that is is racist to disagree with Obama, then I say we should agree.
Assumed Fact: If you disagree with Obama, his statements, his policies, his positions, then you are a racist.
That is why Obama is a racist. He has contradicted his on positions on Afghanistan, Iraq, Gitmo, the economy, transparency, and several other matters. He has taken positions for and against Socialized medicine, meaning he has disagreed with himself at least once on the subject. Obama has disagreed with Obama, and therefor, based on the declarations of those in his party, a former President, several members of his administration, and friends and followers in the media, he is a racist.
It seems a bit ridiculous to declare someone a racist just because they disagree with the policies of another, but that seems to be the position of our friends on the left. If you questions Obama’s health care agenda, you are a racist. Millions of Tea Party activists have been labeled as such just because they dared to exercise their Constitutional right to peaceably protest the President’s position. If this is truly a post racial nation, then we must apply these criteria to any person who disagrees with the Obama on this matter with no concern for race, creed, color, or sexual orientation. So, Obama is a racist.
More than 50% of Americans have been called racists by members of Obama’s party because they have disagreed with him on Afghanistan. Obama has stated that it is a critical battlefield in the War on Terror. Yet he fails to support our troops, delays his decisions regarding the matter, and disregards the positions of the generals he has appointed. He is acting in ways that are contrary to his stated position, indicating he may well be opposing his previous position. Clearly, since disagreement is equal to racism, Obama is a racist.
