I would like to start this week by telling everyone that believes the title of this blog to just go crawl into a hole until you grow a brain. Now for the people who are laughing at the first sentence of the blog let’s look a little deeper into what really happened and what it is going to take for us to fix.
First of all nothing in the economy is going to do anything until housing comes back. The US economy is driven primarily by consumer spending and the housing market. With applications for building permits on the decline yet again, despite the experts in Washington predicting an increase in building permit applications; keep in mind these are the same experts that are advising our current president on the state of the economy. Anyways back to housing. The housing market is in shambles, granted some places are worse than others but until the demand for new building comes back we will not see any recovery. I want everyone to keep this in mind next year when they release the second half of their stimulus and they artificially inflate the economy in order to get elected. Please also keep in mind that that is the only thing that these politicians care about. They don’t want to fix anything unless it will get them re-elected. That is why they are holding quite a lot of the stimulus money, which in the communications infrastructure market has caused everyone to stop building because they are waiting for free money. They have basically caused another standstill so that all of the money can pump up the economy before the election in 2010.
Sort of got off the housing kick there but all of these problems stem from the overall big picture fact that we have given politicians control of something In which they have no vested interest. That is why socialism doesn’t work people!!! The people you are giving control to really don’t care about you as an individual. That is why there is 10% unemployment and I have heard reports that this number will be the new standard. Well I remember when 3-4% was the standard. So what has changed between then and now? I will go ahead and answer…more government control in your everyday lives.
When a individual is responsible for capitalizing on his or her (make sure to be politically correct) opportunities this almost magical thing happens….they actually work hard and become innovative in order to maximize their opportunities. Now this is something that is impossible when you have a government hand inside your pocket, or patting you on the back saying that it is ok to be mediocre. This country in the past has prided ourselves as being the best, most innovative, and strongest economy in the world. Come to think of it this country has never apologized either.
Things are changing in this country as many well know. My opponents on the left side of the political spectrum will say that we conservatives are afraid of change, impeding progress, typical mindless banter that we are used to for the left. Conservatives do not stand up against BHO because we are fearful of change in general; we are standing up because we are fearful of the kind of change that BHO is bringing.
So we can wrap up everything that I am saying, I know I can be hard to read sometimes because I jump from idea to idea, even though those I ideas are very logically connected, at least in my mind. Here is a conclusion for you, the Government does not, will not or ever will have your best interests in mind. You are responsible for your own successes and failures. This whole recovery BS is simply to string you along to get through another election. Just wait you will see everything get better in the news and media next year. It will start with the early summer, “The second in-flux of money is really pushing the economy up.” I can just see the headlines already. What I want you to remember is that that many of the people that you are voting for have been in office long enough to shoulder the blame for the whole debacle in the first place. These politicians are milking the American Public for everything that they have and then expect us to re-elect. I won’t and I hope that you won’t either.
