Brushfire of Freedom
Ram Rants
Our friends on the Liberal side of things are hoping you’ve had a blow to the brain and have forgotten that whole “amnesty” thing from a couple years ago. They are hoping that you do not notice their efforts to repeat, and even make worse, the efforts from 2007. They are betting that, with the economy, Iran, NoKo, “Pinocchio” Pelosi, GM, bailouts, health care, and a host of other distractions that you will not see them slip a full amnesty bill of illegal aliens through Congress and on to B. Hussein’s desk. Fortunately the people at CNN (yes, CNN) have reported on some of the outrageous “rights” that will be given to those who have come here without proper sanction.
Just to level set, an “illegal alien” is someone who has entered this nation through methods other than those established by our government. They are trespassing on US soil, invading our country in ways that other nations, including their home countries, would not allow. They come of course because of the promise of freedom, and the potential for personal gain.
It should be noted that no one in this country wants to deny anyone the opportunities that this nation has to offer. However, with rights there come certain responsibilities and one of those is an adherence to the laws. If you enter this country illegally, you have shirked that responsibility while still attempting to claim the rights and privileges of a US Citizen. If a person is born in this country and breaks the law, they are fined, imprisoned, or both, and some of their rights to freedom are restricted or, in the case of felons, removed. What Nancy, Harry, and B. Hussein want to do is give those who shirk their responsibility to the law the full rights under that same legal authority.
Let’s plow through some examples of the changes (there’s the “C” word again) that our Liberal friends want to make. If passed, these new laws would provide more rights to criminal aliens and those who invade our country than those possessed by natural born citizens.
First, there’s the “no back taxes” clause, meaning that even if they have been in this country for ten years “illegally”, they will not have to pay back the taxes on the income they have earned while working here. Try not paying your taxes for ten years then claiming amnesty from the IRS. If you let me know the name of the penitentiary, I’ll try to send some cookies. They won’t have to learn English for the first nine years of their tenure in the US, which means all of us will be forced to learn Spanish. Now, I’m not opposed to learning new things, but not a big fan of being forced to learn anything. that;s not education, that is indoctrination. They will pay in-state tuition in college, meaning that students who live in the state right next to the school will pay more than an illegal immigrant. Other items:
- Legal status just 24 hours after the illegal applies, regardless of the completion of the background check. This will assuredly bring some fine, upstanding people to our nation
- US Taxpayers (legal citizens) will pay for the immigration lawyers (illegal immigrants)
- Temporary visas that can be perpetually renewed, meaning they are really permanent
- Amnesty for gang members, like the guys in MS-13 and others. Yes, they won’t only be illegal aliens, they will be hardened criminals. Doing the jobs most Americans won’t do, I guess
There are some other interesting tidbits in this bill, including a “fast track” for the “Security and Prosperity Partnership, which would create a North American Union. This would effectively erase the borders of the US, Canada, and Mexico, and make us all one great big family. That means the prosperity of the US and Canada would become a benefit for Mexico. It means effectively the end of the United States, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. It means a new world order. No real mention of border security in the bill either, meaning Congress is not concerned about protecting our country. A note, “provide for the common defense” is in the Preamble of the Constitution, and is quite apparently not being supported by these individuals who have sworn to uphold and defend that document. I guess Nancy was mislead on that whole “Oath of Office” thing.
In short, our “representatives” want to create 11 million new US “citizens” out of 11 million criminals with the stroke of a pen. They want to weaken the defense of this nation by making our borders more porous, Then they would like to effectively dissolve those borders, making the US no longer a country, but part of a union. They are hoping that you have amnesia about their last efforts to do this, back in 2007. They are hoping you have forgotten how to write all those emails, make those phone calls, and sign those petitions that made it clear last time that we as a nation did not support this insane idea. They are planning on you not looking behind the curtain of their secrecy and seeing what they really have in mind, because they fear you will not like it, and rightly so.
There are several bills in both the House and Senate dealing with immigration. A search of the database turned up over 1000 near matches. The link below is to the immigration subcommittee in the House, and I’ve also provided some information on some of those bills. Maybe it’s time we showed Congress we do not have amnesia when it comes to the liberties and freedoms of this nation. Maybe it’s time to stop the madness, and prevent the legalization of the invasion of this nation. We the People have the power, at least for now.
