Our Future

 Brushfire of Freedom

Voice of Adams

Our future is in jeopardy.  Our last opportunity to salvage this country is just 18 months away.  The march of Socialism is relentless, led by B. Hussien, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.  The reason not everyone hears the thump of the jack-boots is the State Run Media is covering the sound with their perpetual praise of this administration’s failures.

There are so many things wrong the the current “press coverage” of this administration.  Unemployment is at a 25-year high, not a word.  Oil and gas prices are at 9-month highs, not a word.  The deficit has spiked to historically high level, due almost entirely to the spending of B. Hussein and his girl Nancy, and the state-run media is mum.  Taxes are increased on a large percentage of the population (tobacco) and the media ignores the contrast between that and the campaign promise of “no taxes on 95% of Americans”.  Can you remember “read my lips”?

This president spends $25,000 of taxpayer money on a date with his wife, in the middle of a recession, while he jibes corporate CEO’s for spending any money, their money, on corporate jets.  The word “hypocrisy” seems to have disappeared from the media lexicon shortly after President Bush left office.  Obama’s public flubs and foibles impacting US allies (UK, Germany, France, Israel) and those related to not-so-much-allies (Saudi Arabia, Russia) far outnumber those of the entire eight years of the Bush administration.  Yet our world-famous comedians can’t seem to find anything funny.

A quick aside here for my friends at Saturday Night Live.  Try a running skit with an Obama look-alike bowing to everyone no matter who they are or what they are doing.  Bow to the camera man.  Bow to the microphone.

The voice of the people was entrusted in the free press.  It was their responsibility to shine a light into the halls of government and ensure those that represent the people are doing the work of the people.  Their right to go to press with the truth is protected in the very first amendment to the Constitution.  They have squandered it, becoming nothing more than Pravda to the Obama administration.

And how many “Czars” do we need before someone in the media looks up the word?  A Czar is an emperor.  The “Car Czar” is an emperor over cars.  Our government was not designed to have single leaders over any aspect of the populace, economy, or property.  We are “of, by, and for”, remember?  Why do we need Czars?  And has anyone (besides Robert Byrd) recognized that this is in fact usurping the powers of Congress?  Clearly, the state-run media does not want to point out any of these facts because they are afraid to upset their boss.  Even when B. Hussein makes up an imaginary number to track his success, the media lets it float on by.  Not a single question on how he intends to track something that does not happen.  His “saved jobs” estimate, as described by his own administration, is a series of estimates, weights, re-weights, consolidations, averages, and statistical boondoggles.  Even IF all of the factors were correct, the number of saved jobs is accurate +/- 95%.  I guess they don’t require Math or Critical Thinking in Journalism school.

Ok, enough.  Next year, the entire House of Representatives and one third of the Senate will be up fro re-election.  As a result of their current majority, the Liberals have more to lose than Conservatives (Democrat and Republican).  If we do not take a step to stop the madness in 2010, it is quite possible we will not have another chance.  In case you have not noticed, every effort is being made to “expedite” every aspect of B. Hussein’s liberal agenda.  They are “fast tracking” spending bills, stimulus packages, and SCOTUS nominations.  The more they can get done, the more power they can maintain, the harder it will be to reverse.  If they can continue into 2012, the damage may be irreparable.  Our future is in our hands in 2010.  Time to grab hold.
