Brushfire of Freedom
Voice of Adams
The first amendment to the US Constitution protects, among other things, the religious freedom that was the original foundation of this nation. It is the very first right protected by our founders, largely because they knew that the form of government they had designed would require a moral compass beyond the individual. They knew that limiting the power of the government would require people to govern themselves and be accountable to some being outside the government. They also knew that restricting religion, or establishing a state religion, would mean a collar on the human spirit, and that the spirit of the citizen was the driving force of freedom and of the nation.
In the past several decades we have witnessed an assault on this sacred freedom. The very document designed to protect our religious freedom has been used against us, limiting the places where we can freely express our faith. It has reduced our forms of expression to state-sanctioned practices in places of worship, preventing even the singing of Christmas Carols in schools during Christmas. The impact of this assault can be seen not only during holidays or in “state” institutions, it can be seen in the election of Liberals and particularly of B. Hussein Obama.
The human being is at the core a spiritual entity. It is our soul and spirit that make us different from any other creature on this planet. Like other parts of our bodies and minds, the spirit requires a certain amount of maintenance. We have regiments for physical health, we have books and software designed to tune our minds. Our souls get their sustenance through the exercise of faith. The ability to exercise our spirit, our very souls, is protected in the Bill of Rights, yet has been eroded by the government. Without an exercise regiment for our souls, they fall into disarray and disrepair. Our soul and spirit become weak, and we become vulnerable to many spiritual illnesses.
The purpose of these attacks is clear. Removing the foundation of the government, the rights and spirit of a free people, is the best way to topple the government and bring about radical change. That is what B. Hussein and his Socialist ilk have been striving for since he began running for office in 2006. The attacks have been a slow, insidious assault, resulting in a significant decline in the number of “faith practitioners” in a nation based in faith, and paving the way for a replacement of the faith our founders envisioned. The government of, by, and for the people requires a faithful people. Our founders called this out in their Declaration of Independence (rights come from a “Creator”). They further protected our right in the first amendment. Its loss, and the resulting loss of faith of the people, is a significant blow to the liberty and freedom we have enjoyed for 200 years.
Now in 2009 we find a mass of people with no faith at their core. Their spirits are weak because they have not exercised their souls. They chose not to, because they were told they could not do so in so many different ways that they avoided the effort. Not everyone has taken this path, but enough people have abandoned their faith that there is a mob who find themselves wandering without a central focus. Enter the charismatic leader, B. Hussein Obama. He has given these faithless a focus for their spirit. The Obamabots are nothing but worshippers, blind followers searching for meaning in their lives. He gives them many different religious exercises; health care, green energy, tax the rich, all the while taking more and more of their freedom. Eventually, like those who stood in line for bread in the old USSR, these people will become lifeless and soulless, and totally under the control of their leader.
This is the true impact of the attack on free religious expression. The Socialists have created a people without faith, and are substituting themselves in order to fill the void in the souls of their followers. They have created an army of acolytes to their faith starving for something to stir their spirit. You can hear it in comments they make after a B. Hussein speech. They faint, they get a thrill up their leg, they get excited and speak of him in terms normally reserved for a divine entity. The soul can not survive without being fed, just as our bellies will grumble if we do not eat. B. Hussein and his Neo-Socs have taken away our spiritual food and are replacing it with a poison for the soul. It is a trick he learned from the Soviets and the Chinese, who openly assault the free expression of religion. Hitler as well attacked an entire population based on their faith. The human spirit is the key foundation of this nation, and the free expression of religion is the food that sustains our souls. The absence of our faith has made us vulnerable, and B. Hussein will give speeches every week just so the soulless can be fed. Hitler gave good speeches, too.
