Recently, B. Hussein Obama, President of the United States, announced that he would remove from discussion a proposal that our wounded military veterans should be billed for medical care. First, let me congratulate the President for a brief, but unfortunately rare, moment of clarity. Now, let me deal with this issue.
When B. Hussein began running for the office of President, he called for a reformation of our healthcare system. In other words, he called for socialized medicine, much like the programs that have failed miserably in the USSR, the UK, Canada, and even Hawaii. He wants to give “free” (government funded) healthcare to all of the people in the United States. His program, as outlined during the campaign and in recent discussions, would provide unlimited, taxpayer funded healthcare to anyone in the United States. This would include illegal aliens, which means people who are in the United States in violation of our laws, who are technically invaders of the sovereign territory of the United States.
This proposal in and of itself is a travesty. It has been a colossal failure in every country in which it has been tried. In an effort to ensure everyone enjoys this abject failure, B. Hussein and his cohorts in Congress plan to tax private healthcare benefits, ensuring that people leave their preferred plans, thus reducing their tax burden, and enrolling in the government plan. The absolute stupidity of this concept was recently demonstrated in Hawaii, where the socialized healthcare program was closed down because too many people gave up their private insurance and joined the free government program. That program collapsed under the weight of the subscribers of one state in about seven months. Let’s keep in mind for a moment that Hawaii is reputed to be B. Hussein’s home state. Wouldn’t you think that he would see this failure and avoid the mistake made?
Now let’s consider the additional load of a non-taxpayer class that is estimated to be between 12 million and 25 million people, depending on the purpose behind citing the number. If all 300 million people in the US are put on the socialized healthcare plan, and the additional 15 million illegals are allowed to participate without paying taxes, you have a 100% funding base and a 105% consumer base. That means a greater demand than supply. Since there is no price adjustment (no free market) to drive reduced consumption, you would consequently see a shortage of service. If you’d like to see the effect, look north to Canada where citizens of our friendly neighbor come south to the US to get the care they can not get from their socialized medical program. They will pay for something that they could get for free because this particular service can be considered critical to their survival. That is the future of socialized medicine.
Now to the outrage. It is appalling, disgusting, revolting, repellant, and many other adjectives that take too much space to list that B. Hussein and Nancy P. would even consider billing our courageous military veterans for any service the government provides. It is disgusting because B. Hussein and his friends in government all receive government funded healthcare themselves as part of their benefits. So do all government employees. Yet they would consider billing a wounded defender of this nation while they enjoy the benefits of government medical services for free. This is a demonstration of their complete contempt for the men and women who serve this country so proudly, and who have made sacrifices that only the bravest of this nation could make. B. Hussein would give free healthcare to those who invade this country and rape her assets (Criminal Aliens, thanks Ted), while sending a healthcare bill to those who have shed blood to defend her borders and her sovereignty. Yes, this idea has been removed from discussion, at least for now, but the fact that it was ever even considered for one nanosecond is a travesty, a perversion, a mockery of this nation. We can see in this one action what B. Hussein and his Socialist allies have planned for our beloved country. They plan its complete and utter destruction, and they are attacking our finest and bravest men and women in an effort to succeed in their quest. It is the blood of our patriots that makes this nation free, sacrificed willingly so that we may all enjoy the blessings bestowed upon her, and B. Hussein wants to send a bill to anyone with the courage to shed one single, precious drop.
